CT Bombers 12U captured the lead, 6-2, in the top of the fourth after Damian M singled, Drew A grounded out, Gavin R hit into a fielder’s choice, Tyler C hit a sacrifice fly, and Chris N walked, each scoring one run.
CT Grind Blue 12U scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth on a home run to left field by #27.
Drew homered to center field, scoring two runs in the top of the sixth for the CT Bombers 12U.
Drew earned the win for CT Bombers 12U. They gave up five hits and six runs (three earned) over six innings, striking out seven and walking three. #9 led things off on the bump for CT Grind Blue 12U. The starting pitcher gave up 11 hits and eight runs (six earned) over six innings, striking out five and walking four.
