Performance Baseball 14U vs CT Mayhem 14U – June 14, 2025

Drew Anderson drove in four runs on two hits to lead Performance Baseball 14U past CT Mayhem 14U 12-4 on Saturday at Mercer Field. Anderson hit a sacrifice fly in the first scoring two, doubled in the fourth scoring two, and singled in the third scoring one.

Performance Baseball 14U were the first to get on the board in the first when Anderson hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs.

CT Mayhem 14U took the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the second thanks to two errors.

Performance Baseball 14U flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring six runs on two hits to take the lead, 8-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Joey Affinito that drove in two.

Mike Schirizzo started the game for Performance Baseball 14U. The hurler allowed four hits and four runs (zero earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking none. #12 stepped on the hill first for CT Mayhem 14U. The hurler allowed zero hits and four runs (two earned) over two innings, striking out none and walking six.

Pj Finch led Performance Baseball 14U with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 13 walks for the game. Finch stole three bases.

#12 led the team with one run batted in. #33, #99, #22, and #52 each collected one hit for CT Mayhem 14U. CT Mayhem 14U turned one double play in the game.
