Performance Baseball 14U Fall To Southeast Elite After Surrendering Big Fifth Inning – June 28, 2025
Southeast Elite defeated Performance Baseball 14U 10-2 on Saturday thanks in part to six runs in the fifth inning.
Southeast Elite got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after an error scored one run, AJ singled, scoring two runs, and Nolan singled, scoring one run.
Southeast Elite scored six runs on two hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Ben drew a walk, scoring one run, Christian singled, scoring two runs, AJ grounded out, scoring one run, Artie grounded out, scoring one run, and Nolan was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.
JJ earned the win for Southeast Elite. The starting pitcher surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Drew Anderson took the loss for Performance Baseball 14U. The righty went four innings, surrendering five runs (one earned) on seven hits, striking out four and walking two.
AJ led Southeast Elite with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. AJ went 1-for-3 on the day. Number seven hitter, Christian, showed the depth of Southeast Elite’s lineup, by leading them with two hits in two at bats. Ben stole two bases. Southeast Elite had a strong eye at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. Southeast Elite ran wild on the base paths, tallying seven stolen bases for the game.
