Performance Baseball 14U Fall Victim To New England Jaguars Rally – June 29, 2025
Performance Baseball 14U lost to New England Jaguars 8-4 on Sunday even though they once led by four runs.
Performance Baseball 14U opened the scoring in the second after an error scored one run.
Performance Baseball 14U added to their early lead in the top of the third inning when Drew Anderson doubled, scoring two runs, and Damion Montillas grounded out, scoring one run.
New England Jaguars flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the sixth, scoring seven runs on five hits to take the lead, 8-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Jose that drove in two.
Trey earned the win for New England Jaguars. The reliever gave up one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking one. Mike Schirizzo took the loss for Performance Baseball 14U. The right-handed pitcher went five innings, surrendering seven runs on seven hits, striking out five and walking two. Gabriel started the game for New England Jaguars. The starter gave up four hits and four runs (three earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one.
Anderson provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Performance Baseball 14U with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Performance Baseball 14U turned two double plays in the game.
Nate drove the middle of the lineup, leading New England Jaguars with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 1-for-3 on the day. Jose led New England Jaguars with two hits in three at bats.
Performance Baseball 14U will travel to Ct Crush Blue for their next game on Monday.
