Performance Baseball 14U vs Powerhouse Bulldogs 14U – June 15, 2025

Damion Montillas collected three hits in three at bats, as Performance Baseball 14U defeated Powerhouse Bulldogs 14u 5-3 on Sunday at Montville High School. Montillas singled in the first inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and singled in the third inning.

Performance Baseball 14U were the first to get on the board in the first when Montillas singled, scoring two runs.

Performance Baseball 14U added one run in the second. Ryan Farina walked, making the score 3-1.

#8 singled to center field, which helped Powerhouse Bulldogs 14u tie the game at three in the top of the fifth.

Performance Baseball 14U took the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning after Joey Affinito grounded out, and Justin Semrau singled to left field, each scoring one run.

Drew Anderson earned the win for Performance Baseball 14U. The starter allowed seven hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking two. #13 took the loss for Powerhouse Bulldogs 14u. The hurler went three innings, allowing two runs on five hits, striking out two and walking none. #28 stepped on the mound first for Powerhouse Bulldogs 14u. The starter surrendered zero hits and two runs over one-third of an inning, striking out one and walking three.

Luca D’Andrea collected two hits for Performance Baseball 14U in three at bats. Performance Baseball 14U had patience at the plate, tallying six walks for the game. Pj Finch and Farina led the team with two walks each. Montillas and D’Andrea each stole multiple bases for Performance Baseball 14U. Performance Baseball 14U ran wild on the base paths, amassing six stolen bases for the game. Performance Baseball 14U turned one double play in the game.

#8 led Powerhouse Bulldogs 14u with one run batted in. #8 went 2-for-3 on the day. Powerhouse Bulldogs 14u turned two double plays in the game.
