Foran jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after an error scored one run, Jason Hockenberry drew a walk, scoring one run, Paul Martin drew a walk, scoring one run, Aj Meglio drew a walk, scoring one run, Kyle Viesselman drew a walk, scoring one run, and Matt Martin drew a walk, scoring one run.

Josh Sanner earned the win for Foran. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and three runs (two earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking three.
